This encore presentation is back by popular demand with the streaming of a previously recorded webinar followed by a live Q&A with Dr. Grisdale. Prevention of alveolar bone loss and reconstruction of lost alveolar bone structure are necessary for predictable and long-term stability of implant-supported restorations. Soft- and hard-tissue complications can lead to unsatisfactory results, including unacceptable esthetics, tooth morphology and poor phonetics. This course emphasizes the technical aspects of ridge preservation and ridge augmentation in addition to the practical aspects of case presentation and preparation. Topics include how to correctly diagnose and treatment plan soft- and hard-tissue defects; contemporary ridge preservation and ridge augmentation techniques; and choosing appropriate graft materials and membranes for successful bone regeneration.
