Description Dentistry has faced a marked increase in government regulations in recent years. Dentists receive some exposure to compliance risks while working as an associate dentist. However, things become real and overwhelming when dentists step into a new role as a practice owner. With this noble step into practice ownership comes complete responsibility for things new practice owners have never had to deal with (every aspect of running a business including responsibility for adequately addressing compliance risks). This course will identify risks and key compliance concepts, and present ideas and strategies to help new practice owners develop and implement compliance systems they can manage to protect themselves, their patients, and their employees.
